The Zuckerman STEM Leadership Postdoctoral Program
The Zuckerman Postdoctoral Scholars Program attracts high-achieving postdoctoral scholars from premier universities in the United States and Canada to do research at one of eight Israeli universities. Once they complete their research, many Zuckerman postdocs are expected to accept faculty positions at top North American universities, weaving a network of academic collaboration and goodwill that will greatly benefit US-Israeli scientific cooperation.

Azrieli International Postdoctoral Fellowship for the 2026-27 Academic Year
This prestigious fellowship is open to researchers in any academic discipline at eligible institutions in Israel.
The program offers a two-year fellowship, with the option to extend for a third year.
The fellowship selects 24 postdoctoral researchers each year, who are provided with a monthly stipend of 14,000 ILS, along with access to enrichment activities, networking events, and personalized support.

Fulbright Post-Doctoral Fellowships
Fulbright Israel plans to award 16 grants of $60,000 to post-doctoral scholars who are about to begin a program of research during the 2026/27 academic year at an accredited university or non-profit research institute in the United States.
This program is open to researchers in all fields of study except programs that include clinical activities involving direct patient care.
The grant package includes:
- - $60,000 award.
- - Basic health insurance for the grantee only, for the duration of the grant.
- - J1/J2 visa administration.
- - Pre-departure orientation meeting in Israel.
- - A support agency in the U.S. that assists with visas, events and networking.
The submission for the Fulbright-ISEF scholarship: December 1st, 2025.
BARD Fellowships
Funds postdoctoral fellowships for citizens from one country (U.S. or Israel) to perform agricultural research with established scientists in the other country.
Maximum award: $64,000
Award duration: 1-2 years
